Officers for 2010
Commander’s Report – Summer 2010
It’s summer and time for us all to get out and enjoy the
water, and put into practice all we have learned as members of the United
States Power Squadron.
Our Spring Boating Class was a big success with 12 students
completing the course, a big thanks to instructors Jib Davidson, David Teiss
and Pam Keith for a job well done.
This year is particularly exciting because so many of
our members are heading to the Bahamas,
many for the first time, to do some serious sailing in the Abacos (northern
Bahamas) while others will be cruising and fishing in the Exumas (southern
Bahamas). For those left behind, we will continue to hold our Summer Pot Lucks
- Be sure to check the website for all
the necessary information and directions.
Also, don’t forget the District 23 Fall Conference October
1-3, hosted by the Banana River Sail and Power Squadron – mark your calendars
now!
